Aces: This class focuses on learning and improving different tennis strokes through various fast paced practice drills with an emphasis on match play.

Junior Aces: This class teaches the fundamentals of tennis in a fun and exciting setting. It will include learning different strokes, rules and practice drills to help the player enhance their skill level.
Little Hitters & Rookies Tennis

Using the "Quick Start" tennis program we will be introducing the game of tennis to our younger tennis players. This program is filled with fun games and learning techniques for our budding tennis stars.
Pee Wee Tennis
Youth Tennis (4-5 years)
Pee Wee Tennis: This class is filled with fun games and drills designed to "introduce" the game of tennis to the younger player.

Men's Singles League
Men's Singles League: The YMCA will be offering a men's singles league on Tuesday evenings from 7:30pm - 9:00pm. Registration for this league will start on Monday, Sept. 13th and the league begins Tuesday, Oct. 5th. 
Adult Women's Doubles
Adult Women’s Doubles: The YMCA will be offering a women's doubles league for the player at the beginning to intermediate player level of play. The league will run for 10 weeks. Check calendar for league start times.
Private Tennis Lessons
Private tennis lessons give you one on one time with an instructor, and are available for players at any age or level. The price of a private lesson will include the regular court fee, plus the cost of the instructor. If you are interested in scheduling a private tennis lesson contact the YMCA at 655-1460.
Senior Tennis
Senior Tennis (Age 55+): Our senior tennis program is offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. You may play 1, 2, or all 3 days. It is a walk on program where everyone is welcome to play. The format of play will depend on the number of players each day. This is a great way to exercise and meet other seniors interested in the sport of tennis.
Adult Tennis Lessons
Adult Tennis Lessons: Lessons are a great way to learn how to play tennis, or to improve on your tennis game. Our YMCA lessons are geared toward the beginner and intermediate player looking to learn a stroke, fix a glitch in your mechanics, and how to use different strategies in match play.

Blocktime
Blocktime: Reserving a permanent court time assures you a court on a specified day and time September 10th, 2012 through December 21st, 2012. Reserving this time also makes you responsible for payment of the court each week. Call the Meyer Center (655.1460) for more details.

Introduction to Tennis
Youth Tennis (9 - 11 & 11 - 18)
Introduction to Tennis: The YMCA offers beginning tennis classes for children in grades 3rd - 12th. These classes will be geared towards children with little or no tennis experience. The class will focus on learning the basic fundamentals and rules of tennis.
Beginning Aces/High School (11-18 years)

Advanced Hitting

Advanced Hitting: This new class is geared towards the tournament bound player. It will be filled with fast paced drills with an emphasis on match situations for both the singles and doubles player. Reminder: player must be director approved.
High School Tennis
Youth Tennis (14-18 years)
High School Tennis: This class is for the intermediate to advanced tennis player. It will focus on improving the mental and physical game of tennis through fast paced drills and match play situations.
