Preschool - Our three year old program emphasizes social interaction, fine and gross motor skills, science and nature activities, cultural and art activities and outdoor play. We encourage the development of a positive attitude toward peers, adults, and teachers. There are 15 children in each 3’s class, along with a lead teacher and two co-op parents. Three Year olds are offered rookies sports sampler in the fall, gymnastics in the winter and swimming lessons in the spring. The threes will participate in the annual Circus in March.

Requirements: Child must be 3 before September 1st of the current school year. Parent MUST help in classroom at least twice a month.
Times Offered: Tuesday & Thursday from 9:00am - 11:30pm. Tuesday & Thursday from 12:30pm - 3:00pm.
Cost: $68/month

Children must be potty trained EXCEPT for toddlers. When you are scheduled to co-op, you will be required to either bring a snack or drink for your child’s class.
Each time a class meets, we have two parents that help in the classroom, along with a lead teacher. Parents will again this year have the opportunity to participate in the buy-out program. This option allows each parent to co-op 1/2 as much during the school year. Each parent who wants the option of the buy-out will pay an extra $15 per month for the 3's class and $18 per month for the Pre-K classes. An aide will be hired on those days that you were to co-op. The buy-out option is a 9 month commitment, beginning in September and ending in May. Please talk to the Preschool Director at 656-0436 ext. 25 if you are interested in this option. Preschool Registration for the 2010-2011 school year will be as follows: Children currently in the program may register beginning January 4, 2010. Siblings of past/present children in the program may register beginning January 11th. YMCA members may register beginning January 18th and non-members may register beginning on January 25th. A $30 non-refundable registration fee will be collected at the time of registration.
