Triathlon FAQ's

Q: If my child is 11 or older, what event should he/she do?

A: All children age 11 and older will participate in the regular (adult) event as an individual OR part of a relay team.

Q: Do I have to have a helmet for the biking portion of the event/s?

A: Yes. That is required.

Q: I do not like to swim. Actually, I cannot swim! What should I do?

A: Can you water walk? Use flippers or a kick board? All of these options are seen at our event and are common! You can also be a part of a relay team and have someone else swim - utilize your strengths! We will also allow participants to eliminate the swim portion and take an "average" time for that part.

Q: Can I use a stroller or bike trailer on the trails?

A: Yes! We love making this event family friendly!

Q: Will this event be highly competitive?

A: We will have a few participants that will be in our first heat that do compete for time. The vast majority of our participants compete for completion and FUN!

Q: Can I speak to someone about my other questions?

A: Yes! We are here to guide you though this process. Email Lacey Sonderegger This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
